Julia E. Shaw (b. Cloudman) (1839-1935) was born in Garland, Maine, and died in Buhl, Minnesota. In 1856, she married William A. Shaw, a farmer, in Penobscot, Maine. Sometime during the 1870s, the Shaws moved to Cambridge, Massachusetts, and by 1895, they had moved to Minnesota. Shaw was a member of the Church of Christ (Scientist).
