Eliza M. Silver (c.1830-1914) was born in New York and died in Los Angeles, California. She was the wife of Herman Silver, a prominent California politician and civil servant. In early 1886, while living in Denver, Colorado, she studied Christian Science with Bradford Sherman, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's.
