Martha G. Skinkle (1848-1903) was born in Peoria, Illinois, and died in Geneva, Nebraska. She became interested in Christian Science in early 1886 and wrote to Mary Baker Eddy for information on studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. Even though she had intended to study with Eddy, there is no record of her doing so.
