Caroline H. Smith (b. Holbrook) (1832-1917) was born in Ripley, New York, and died in Pontiac, Michigan. She married Phineas Smith, a farmer, in Ashtabula, Ohio, in 1846. By 1870 they were living in Ionia, Michigan. Smith wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1887 to order some pamphlets.
