Mary T. Smith (1860-1920) was born in Paris, Kentucky, and died in Kansas City, Missouri. She married William Grant Makemson in 1889 in Bourbon, Kentucky. She wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1885 and inquired about attending the Massachusetts Metaphysical College.
