Maria P. Stackhouse (b. Palmer) (1830-1891) was born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, and died in Fallsington, Pennsylvania. In 1852 she married Jacob W. Stackhouse. He was a farmer, the Postmaster of Fallsington, and a justice of the peace. In 1887 Stackhouse wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures.
