Susan T. Stowell (1833-1919) was born in Ashburnham, Massachusetts, and
died in Antrim, New Hampshire. She resided in Duluth, Minnesota, in the late 1880s,
where she advertised in the local papers as a Christian Science practitioner. Stowell
joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on June 2, 1900.
In the early 1900s she sold off property in Duluth and lived in New York, where she was
a member of First Church of Christ, Scientist, Staten Island, New York. She moved to
Antrim around 1908.
