Hampshire. She studied Christian Science with Ann M. Otis, a student of Mary Baker Eddy.
Thompson periodically served in Eddy's Pleasant View household. She was a member of
First Church of Christ, Scientist, Concord, New Hampshire, and joined The First Church
of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, on September 30, 1893. Thompson was
listed in the directory of The Christian Science Journal as a
Christian Science practitioner in Concord from 1894 until her death. She was one of the
witnesses of Eddy's will.
