Annie F. Thurston (b. Carpenter) (1835-?) was born in Augusta, Maine, and
died in an unknown location. In 1858 she married Stephen R. Thurston, a bookkeeper who
later became a fire insurance agent, in Portland, Maine. Sometime in the 1870s they
relocated to Lombard, Illinois. Thurston's husband died in 1907, and by 1910 she was
living in York, Illinois. In 1887 Thurston's husband wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to order
Christian Science pamphlets on her behalf.
