Samuel G. Todd (1853-1938) was born in Rowley, Massachusetts, and died in Ipswich, Massachusetts. Records suggest he was taught jointly by Mary Baker Eddy and her husband, Asa G. Eddy, studying with them in February 1878. He joined the Christian Scientist Association in March 1878 and was dismissed in October 1882 at own his request because he was unable to attend meetings.
