Wealthy M. Torrey (b. Wells) (1833-1901) was born in Ohio and died in an unknown location. In 1846, she married Henry C. Campbell, in Erie, Ohio. He was a proprietor and editor of the Daily Sanduskian and Sandusky Clarion. He died in 1852. Two years later, she married Theodore W. Torrey, a bank teller, in Erie. By 1860, they were living in St Louis, Missouri. Torrey wrote to Mary Baker Eddy in 1886 to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures and ask for a recommendation of a local Christian Science healer.
