Abbie B. Trego (1833-1913) was born in Ohio and died in San Francisco, California. She married Watson Bradshaw in Rock Island, Illinois, in 1856. He passed away in 1867, and she married Henry S. Trego in Henry, Illinois, in 1871. They moved to San Jose, California, sometime after 1880, and by 1900, they had moved to San Francisco. Trego was a student of Mary Baker Eddy's, completing the Primary class in March 1888. Her daughter, Sue Ella Bradshaw, was instrumental in establishing Christian Science on the West Coast. They both joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, together on March 31, 1894, and they were founding members of First Church of Christ, Scientist, San Francisco, when it was organized in 1895. Trego was a Christian Science healer and would take charge of Bradshaw's healing practice when she was away.
