Lyman S. Walker (1840-1921) was born in Barre, Massachusetts, and died in
            Boylston, Massachusetts. He was a Civil War veteran who served in Company C of the 34th
            Massachusetts Volunteer Infantry. After the war, he owned a dairy farm in Boylston, held
            many positions of public office in town, and also served as deacon of the Boylston
            Congregational Church for forty years. His wife, Harriet A. Walker, was healed of
            chronic rheumatism by Mrs. Calvin C. Foster, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's.
