James Walmsley (1835-1904) was born in Manchester, England, and died in Chicago, Illinois. He was a traveling salesman from Chicago who visited Boston and met with Mary Baker Eddy in early 1885. At the time he met with Eddy, his daughter, Nellie, was a patient of Eddy's student, George B. Wickersham.
