Nellie Walmsley (1860-1922) was born in Chicago, Illinois, and died in Berwyn, Illinois. She became interested in Christian Science in 1885 when she received Christian Science treatment through prayer from George B. Wickersham, a student of Mary Baker Eddy's. Later, Walmsley took Primary class instruction with Wickersham. She joined The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts, in July 1897 and was a member until her passing.
