Helen O. Willard (later Helen W. Toombs) (c.1847-1929) was born in New York and died in Fort Worth, Texas. At the time she wrote to Mary Baker Eddy, she was working as a school teacher in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. There is no record of her studying with Mary Baker Eddy or uniting with the Church of Christ (Scientist).
