Lydia G. Worth (?-?) was born and died in an unknown location. Worth
lived in Boston, Massachusetts, in the 1880s and 90s and worked as a milliner. She
studied Christian Science with Josephine Curtis Woodbury, a student of Mary Baker Eddy,
in 1886 and later withdrew from her association in 1887. She then studied with Sarah H.
Crosse, who was also a student of Eddy. Although Worth expressed an interest in studying
with Eddy herself, there is no record of her doing so. She became a member of the Church
of Christ (Scientist) on March 21, 1886. Worth was a Christian Science practitioner and
contributed articles to the March 1888 issue of
The Christian Science
Journal.
