Clara A. Worthing (1831-1891) was born in Fall River, Massachusetts, and
died in Brockton, Massachusetts. For several years beginning in the 1870s, she was a
practicing metaphysician in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Fall River. In 1885, she wrote
to Mary Baker Eddy, asking for an interview with her, but there is no record of Worthing
meeting Eddy.
