John H. Yeoman (1852-1927) was born in Connecticut and died in South Kingstown, Rhode Island. In 1885, while working as a farm laborer near Carolina, Rhode Island, he wrote to Mary Baker Eddy to ask for information on studying at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. There is no record of him studying at the College or joining The First Church of Christ, Scientist, in Boston, Massachusetts.
