The Wesleyan Building was completed in 1870 at a cost of about $300,000 ($5,778,420.50 in 2016). Located at 36 Bromfield Street, it was designed as the headquarters of the Boston Wesleyan Association. The building was home to Wesleyan Hall and the Zion's Herald newspaper. The remaining space in the building was rented out to other businesses and to people who also resided in the building. The building still stands on Bromfield Street.
