Editorial Note: Williams tells Mary Baker Eddy that he is sorry that anyone would attempt to malign her reputation. He says that whatever Richard Kennedy may have said about her to others, he bore unqualified testimony to Williams that Eddy is a virtuous lady and a model of chastity and virtue.
