Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Clara E. Choate on lined paper from Boston, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Choate writes about two of her patients, wondering whether they are ready to be done
having treatment and to take class with Eddy. She also reports on a church meeting
where a salary for Eddy was discussed. They decided to offer her five dollars ($126.15
in 2016) per Sunday from the time she started. Choate feels this is a small sum and
had hoped to get others to agree to ten dollars ($252.30 in 2016) per Sunday. She
expresses her disappointment in the others present at the meeting.
