Dear Teacher

The bells of time ring out upon the silence of one year and in their echoes I would send back to you a cheering note of gladness born of triumphs, victories and successes not alone of myself but of and for many others. I would send you the happy news that my humble life and Christian efforts are still chanting the grand authors of truth and love not in words but deeds, and if above the din of those nearer and mayhap dearer this leaf can gain attention it will bring to you a reminder of the thanks my love still offers as I greet you in spirit.

Like a Far away murmur do I hear the evil said of me but still mounting higher am quickly lost in that which knows no error and cannot admit evil and in this “peace be still”Mark 4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he saith unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side. Mark 4:36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships. Mark 4:37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. Mark 4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? Mark 4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. Mark 4:40 And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith? Mark 4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him? do I hold my wings of (thought and rest content that right will conquer wrong.

Other years of silence may come but none like this and now do I know that the infinite intelligence that alone guides me will lead us all into the divine consciousness of immortality.
