"Richards himself again"Editorial Note: “Richard’s himself again” is a phrase that was used to indicate that someone has recovered from an illness or other untoward circumstance and is now his or her normal self. The phrase was first used in a play adapted from Shakespear’s Richard III by Colley Cibber (1671-1757), and titled The Tragical History of King Richard III. so I have the privilege of Correspondence, have I not? Yesterday the ScientistsEditorial Note: Christian Scientists met for the Second time, in pursuance of their efforts to organize a church. About 75 in attendance. I attempted to preach upon the "Word of Divine Power made flesh,"John 1:14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth. with views presented strictly in accord with ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science-

Next Sunday we shall gather in Weber Music Hall and Complete our organization under as we think very favorable auspices.

We desire to make it a Church in all respects in accord with the Mother church in Boston. To this end I wrote last week to Bro Adams – requesting details of "Tenets, subscription to which would Constitute Eligibility to membership" "Order of services" "Names of Spiritual offices if any," Hymnal and such other matters as would make a unity of the church.

I have receive As Written: receivied no reply from Bro. Adams.. Will you please have him nudged to give us this aid in our endeavors?

I have given your note urging the establishment of an InstituteEditorial Note: At this time Mary Baker Eddy had been writing to a number of her students asking them to establish “Institutes” in their cities for the purpose of teaching Christian Science., particular attention. There are two Mesmeric Schools already started. One by Schwarz, another by a Mr. Charles– the latter of which is incorporated as I learn by report.

It would not be a judicious As Written: judicius Step for me to open a school. But it would in my opinion be wise to secure the names of three or four of the oldest and best tried of your students and associate them as a faculty: One to Lecture on the "Science of Being"; a second on "Spiritual Physiology"; a third on "Animal Magnetism" and a fourth, on "Healing."

This would Cover the ground of Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, except it might be the other-side remaining As Written: remaing topic. "The Bible and Metaphysics." Some objections to an Institute with a faculty of four or five and a division of the Departments of Science and Health among them may occur to you, If they do, state them as strongly as you please, and we will be influenced by them. If however you would approve of an Institute thus organized, I am sure it can be established.
