Accession: 067.17.001
Editorial Title: Benjamin P. Palmer to Mary Baker Eddy, October 16, 1883
Author: Benjamin P. Palmer
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: October 16, 1883
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Benjamin P. Palmer on printed stationery of the Boston Globe and sent from Boston, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Palmer, an editor at the Boston Globe, is replying to a note (not extant) he received from Mary Baker Eddy. He has published a paragraph in the Globe about the Eddy v. Arens lawsuit. He is not going to ask Eddy if she thinks it is fair, as he has despaired of satisfying her. He says he has asked her attorney (John L. S. Roberts) to write a piece about the lawsuit and Roberts has refused. He adds that Eddy's note contains falsehoods and accusations that Palmer made statements that he did not make.
