I am pleased to thus address you- Having As Written: Haveing taken the 1st course of lectures of your Normal Student - Dr B. Sherman of ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois - one year ago - Science and HealthEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy has been my constant companion in my efforts to live and spread the blessed truths it contains- ever since – My Teacher Dr Sherman- has kindly introduced me to you - Am in receiptAs Written:rec of two letters from Mr Frye your SecretaryAs Written:Sec- 1st apprising As Written: apprsing me of the acceptance As Written: acceptence of my name for the N. Class to convene in Feb- a week- later that class would convene Feb 7th and to come – Words fail me to express my desire to come to you – in this class – But am unable to raise the funds necessary to do so- To the end that I may see my way clear – I will work –. I trust you will keep my name until As Written: untill I can answer in your presence -
