Editorial Note: Brown thanks Asa Gilbert Eddy for letters she has received from him and from Mary Baker Eddy and for their kind words and wishes. These letters are not extant. Apparently the
Eddys have told Brown that they feel she should move away and be removed from the
scene for a time. She is willing to do this if she can afford it. She also writes
that "Mr. Prescott" wishes to withdraw from the Christian Scientist Association.
