Editorial Title: James Monroe Letts to Mary Baker Eddy, June 27, 1876
Author: James Monroe Letts
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: June 27, 1876
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by James Monroe Letts on lined paper.
Archival Note: Letts thanks Eddy for a letter he received from her. The letter is not extant.
Editorial Note: Letts asks Eddy to send him a photograph of her, if she has one. He hopes to be able to come and meet her and eventually study with her. His health is improved except for his asthma. He is concerned whether he is truly demonstrating spiritual understanding or merely exchanging one belief for another. He tells Eddy that things that used to give him pleasure no longer do so.
