Accession: 145.23.009
Editorial Title: James Monroe Letts to Mary Baker Eddy and Asa Gilbert Eddy, July 10, 1879
Author: James Monroe Letts
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy  Asa Gilbert Eddy
Date: July 10, 1879
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by James Monroe Letts from Dundee, New York.
Editorial Note: Letts complains of ongoing physical problems, such as a pain in his breast, a severe cold, etc. that cause him great suffering and interfere with his activities. He cannot understand why he is not healed in Christian Science, as he believes he has been applying its rules correctly. He is being urged to consult a doctor but is resisting. He still has faith that his illnesses are nothing but false beliefs and that his "nightmare" will someday be over.
