Accession: 145.23.013
Editorial Title: James Monroe Letts to Mary Baker Eddy, August 20, 1879
Author: James Monroe Letts
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: August 20, 1879
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by James Monroe Letts on lined paper from Dundee, New York.
Archival Note: This is a reply to a letter Letts received from Mary Baker Eddy. The letter is not extant.
Editorial Note: Letts tells Mary Baker Eddy that he is still having problems with his throat and a cough. He says it is like a chronic cold. He has also been disturbed by reports he has heard that Eddy and her husband have been persecuting Daniel H. Spofford. Even though these reports have upset him, he is not inclined to take them at face value.
