In justice to you I hereby tardily acknowledge with grateful thanks benefits received on FebruaryAs Written:Feb. 11th, when I was privileged As Written: priviledged to see and talk with you.

Before you had finished speaking my thought was entirely freed from a condition which was far from the reflection of God, the one unchangeable Mind, and et ceteraAs Written:etc, which you detected, and instantly cast out the evil.

This manner of healing is on a par with the accounts given of the way Jesus healed.

This experience has shown me clearly how we burden you and interfere with your peace of mind. It also shows me that a thought which constantly radiates purity is constantly healing all manner of sin and sickness, just as the radiation of light is constantly destroying darkness which cannot approach or enter into light; and "these wolves in sheep's clothing are detected and killed by innocence, the Lamb of LoveMary Baker Eddy, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures567:28false prophets are lust and hypocrisy. ". S & HEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy, page 567.

This experience further As Written: furthur emphasizes the Scripture James 1: 22 to 25James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: James 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. , Psalm 91: 9,10Ps 91:9 Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; Ps 91:10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. ; and your words "Keep your minds so filled with Truth and Love that sin, disease, and death cannot enter them", C. S. Journal March 1899Editorial Note: See the article "What Our Leader Says" in the March 1, 1899 edition of The Christian Science Journal. This article was later republished in The First Church of Christ, Scientist and Miscellany on page 210.. I also wish to express my appreciation for our loved Text BookEditorial Note: Science and Health With Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy from new plates, with the many helpful changes making the Truth more clear. I do not believe that I am presuming too much in saying that it, with the Bible, should be our only teachers, as already, they are our only preachers.

Lovingly yours
Calvin C. Hill.
