Editorial Title: Arthur T. Buswell to Mary Baker Eddy, November 9, 1879
Author: Arthur T. Buswell
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: November 9, 1879
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Arthur T. Buswell from Cincinnati, Ohio.
Archival Note: This is a reply to a note from Mary Baker Eddy to Buswell that is not extant. It apparently informed Buswell that Eddy had decided to remain in Boston and not move to Cincinnati.
Editorial Note: Buswell has received Mary Baker Eddy's note, and he tells her he is not surprised that she has decided to stay in Boston. In fact, he writes, it would be better for her to stay there for a time. Buswell also writes of the trials Eddy will continue to encounter in Boston and hopes that her followers will rally around her and give her support. He is sending Eddy some medical journals, edited by professors in a medical school in Ohio. He met them, says they are quite liberal, and that he told them he would like a diploma from their school.
