Manuscript Description: Handwritten by James C. Howard on lined paper from Boston, Massachusetts. The letter
appears to be cut off at the end and does not include Howard's signature.
Editorial Note: Howard gives a detailed description to Mary Baker Eddy of a meeting of the Christian
Scientist Association that he has attended. He also complains of his lack of success
in healing others through his practice of Christian Science and ends the letter by
describing the case of an unnamed mother and two daughters that he is treating.
