My Dear Teacher -

Pardon for not immediately acknowledging the reception As Written: recepton of my "HappyAs Written:Hapy New Year" I was so pleased As Written: please to see your sweet face - a pang of regret shot through me, to see a break just across the mouth - It was sweet of you to send it to me - & am so glad you appreciate our memento - indeed it was sent with love - & your accepting it so truly As Written: truely adds to the love - I wish you could know how truly As Written: truely I desire to know the Truth, yet I believe you do. I am finding something in storehouseAs Written:store house that proves itselfAs Written:its self new, every day - & am beginning to feel like I might be ready for the class with Dr & Mrs FlunoEditorial Note: Francis J. Fluno and Ella V. Fluno If I am not please do not hesitate to have me wait; I am good at waiting when I know it is best, but, I think I should like to go with them. They have done good work here & have stood nobly through their poisoning & I think I can be able to help them in some respects & know they will be a help to me in others. I have been finding so many beautiful things this week, they come to me in my treatments, almost startle me sometimes with their vividness & clearness, & I feel the weakness & unprofitableness of the flesh every day. I worked two or three hours on this - "I made light & create darkness. I made peace & create evil."Isa 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things. we had it in our Sep- class. I got a clear glimpse of it when you explained it, & then the darkness It is a gravitation As Written: gravtation that has troubled a younger brother of mine so that is why I was working at it especially. So I treated myself - I saw it clearly once & can see it again. et ceteraAs Written:&C - so it came quick As Written: quck to me & have been enabled to lighten other minds beside my own. There are so many things should like to tell you, they are s imple in themselves, but, you know that it was the simple that Wisdom in vited to her feastProv 9:1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars: Prov 9:2 She hath killed her beasts; she hath mingled her wine; she hath also furnished her table. Prov 9:3 She hath sent forth her maidens: she crieth upon the highest places of the city, Prov 9:4 Whoso is simple, let him turn in hither: as for him that wanteth understanding, she saith to him, Prov 9:5 Come, eat of my bread, and drink of the wine which I have mingled. Prov 9:6 Forsake the foolish, and live; and go in the way of understanding. - I wish it was so that I could accept the advantages the association proposes to give. I shall urge bro- Newton to do so, if it meets with your approval. I am urging him all the time to hasten his business settlements, & do just as you direct, Bettie is doing the same. I must tell you dearer that my husband is so proud of my Christian Science work, that while in ChicagoEditorial Note: Chicago, Illinois he presented me with an elegant pair of diamondAs Written:diamon earringsAs Written:ear-rings - this is the result of the softening influence of Divine Love -
