Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Luther M. Marston on embossed lined paper from Pittsfield, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Marston is replying to a note (not extant) dated August 13, 1883, that he received
from Mary Baker Eddy. He reiterates his desire to attend Mary Baker Eddy's class on
Christian Science beginning on August 20, 1883. He also tells Eddy that he suffers
from sick headaches every week and is hopeful that taking class instruction will help
him deal with those. He asks if Mary Baker Eddy would be willing to herself give him
Christian Science treatment through prayer for the headaches. (Marston was a student
in Eddy's class that began August 20, 1883.)
