My darling Teacher. -

I write you this morning, thinking that Miss Vaughn's latest move may comfort you a little. She wishes to get over near Mrs. Batchelder for the sake of quiet and to be near her. If she did not respect the Truth she would not wish to be near those who are loyal to you and full of love. She was very anxious to come into West Rutland [?] Unclear or illegible , and now she wishes to go there. Mrs. Batchelder has found a room for her I believe, and until that article is written its seems the best move that could have been made. Another thing Miss Bartlett says she is going to make her donation to the building fund $500Editorial Note: $500.00 in 1885 is the equivalent of $13,178.22 in 2019..

In haste.

Lovingly yours,
Sadie H. Crosse
