Editorial Note: Dorman is writing to Mary Baker Eddy to order a copy of Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures for his parents because they have been reading his copy so much. He also recounts
a story about meeting a physician named Dr. Pierce who has shown an interest in Christian
Science, is keen to purchase Science and Health, and wants to attend class at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College. Dorman is still hoping to be in Mary Baker Eddy's December 1883 class, and he closes
the letter by asking if, after studying, he can become a sales agent for the her books.
