My Dear Teacher

It is not quite two weeks since we got homeEditorial Note: Victoria H. Sargent and her sister, Laura E. Sargent, were members of a Primary class taught by Mary Baker Eddy that began on December 22, 1884. and I can truly say it has been the happiest two weeks of my life, and I know all of our little bandEditorial Note: This is probably a reference to the members of Mary Baker Eddy’s December 22, 1884, Primary class who were from the Oconto, Wisconsin area: Mrs. F. A. Freeman, Emma A. McDonald, Almeda Pendleton, Laura E. Sargent, and Victoria H. Sargent. would join with me in writing the same. We have all entered into our new field of work and have had some very nice demonstrations and we have not forgotten that lesson you taught us Dear Teacher to handle the serpentJohn 3:14 ¶And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: and know it is nothing. We had a few lines from Mrs Freeman she is very happy wrote that she had been demonstrating with quick results Mrs McDonald is going on with her good work they are coming here Wednesday Jan 28. to start our AssociationEditorial Note: This was to be a branch of the Christian Scientist Association in Boston, Massachusetts. there are several that are quite interested in Christian Science As Written: christian science and have got the booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy and are going to read them careful I have sold all the booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy I brought home with me, and will send the money by P.O. order, and would like some more, will do all I can to sell them
