Dear Papa

We have just been to hear our dear leader Mrs Eddy. Oh! how many times I wished I could remember all that she said, & carry them with me everywhereAs Written:every where I go. How much more happy we are when we are having spiritual happiness than we are when we are having material happiness. The sermon was beautiful, more beautiful than I could explain, & everythingAs Written:every thing went off just beautiful. Some of the thoughts that I got by hearing her I copied As Written: coppied down on a piece of paper. Mrs Eddy said that God giveth his care as a shepherd, & that He watches over us so the enemy the error cannotAs Written:can not creep in & take us out of Light into darkness, that He giveth us the Life & shows us the way which is strait & narrowMatt 7:13 ¶Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Matt 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. & that He is our watchtowerAs Written:watch tower by night & holdeth up the Light which shows us the way, which is good. The hour of sickness seems unbearable and then comes the Light & the understanding & when we are striving & working for Truth & when we get weary He, which As Written: whick is spirit, Good, takes us & carries us into the fold where there is no decay & where there is Love & Eternal Life & out of the belief of error. We cannotAs Written:can not call Him Father unless we know that he has adopted us. To be counted as one of God's As Written: Gods children we have toAs Written:haveto pass under his rod before entering into the fold of Truth. We cannotAs Written:can not pass under his rodEzek 20:37 And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant: or be counted as one of Truth'sAs Written:Truths followersAs Written:folowers unless we try to follow Jesus'sAs Written:Jesus' footstepsAs Written:foot steps & show that we are working & are willing to help bring out the Truth & the wayJohn 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. . When Mrs Eddy came out on the platform As Written: platforn she looked so motherly & calm & when she came in it was as still as could be until As Written: untill it was through with. The Benediction was just lovely & after it was out Mrs Chick rushed up & wanted us to go out to their As Written: there house & said that they was going to move & wanted us to come now for they would be up in arms then. I think As Written: thing that Mr. Trupe was there to Church & someoneAs Written:some one said he was there to the Friday Eve. meetingAs Written:meating. I in some of the things that Mrs Eddy said I could not remember so put in some of my thoughts that I thought meant As Written: ment the same or about the same & once in a while one of my thoughts which I thought would go in nice. Thursday afternoon we went out to Aunt Anies & Uncle Rolin's

Mr Cutter took notes too As Written: to for I saw him. He is the one that most always speaks first at Friday Evenings & speaks so good. Our Friday Evenings meetings As Written: meatings are nice but are nothing compared to when. Mrs Eddy preaches for it is always a treat to hear her. Mrs Eddy said that Our Ideals are different & said something else & had a good many more thoughts with it but we could not get them, & anotherAs Written:an other thought that she gave us was that the meaning to rock is Love & that she said that as we grew high in Spirit, & in the high elevation of thought, that when we was in the watchtowerAs Written:watch tower we would see the error far off As Written: of in the distance & so she herselfAs Written:her self Mrs Eddy is high in the elevation of thought & don't As Written: dont she see the error coming & didn'tAs Written:did'nt she see this time coming & tried to prepare us for it but they would not hear As Written: here her or pay any attention to her but now they see or should see their As Written: there fault. She ended up the sermon with Oh! what awaiteth the true servant As Written: servent of God. This is as near as I can remember it with the exceptions of some of my thoughts which I put in thinking that they would fit nicely. Will close with lots of Love.
