Accession: 479.54.008
Editorial Title: Alice M. Baker to Mary Baker Eddy, September 5, 1879
Author: Alice M. Baker
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: September 5, 1879
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Alice M. Baker on lined paper from Union, New Hampshire.
Editorial Note: Baker has a deformed back that gives her a lot of trouble, but she has improved somewhat in health since she has been in Union, New Hampshire, for the summer. She wishes she had had treatment from Mary Baker Eddy during the period when Eddy was publicly practicing Christian Science. She is convinced she would have been completely healed. Nonetheless, she writes that she has received benefit from Clara E. Choate's Christian Science treatments. She has heard from Alice Sibley. She wishes that Eddy could join her in New Hampshire and enjoy the beautiful surroundings there.
