My dear Mrs Eddy

A lady friend, to whom I sold the booksEditorial Note: Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures by Mary Baker Eddy., early in the summer, and is very much interested in ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science, and apparently an intelligent women sent a line to me last week “ Did I think Mrs Eddy would give her instruction for any less then three hundred dollarsEditorial Note: 300” as she wished very much to go to Boston and attend a courseAs Written:couse of lectures under your instruction at the College.

She wanted me to instruct her in the summer I told her I was not far enough advanced to teach, and I also thought when she felt like studying she had better go to the College.

I think her a woman of limited means, and perhaps she has heard that you take students for less thanAs Written:then the three hundred dollarsEditorial Note: 300.

Her first thought was to go to Mrs Courson. I advised her not to but to wait till she could go to you. I think she would like to commence with the next class if there is time.

I am gettingAs Written:geting along very well in healing, although I get discouraged sometimes and feel that perhaps I may have made a mistake in taking up ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science but I shall persevere and try my best I believe in ScienceEditorial Note: Christian Science more thanAs Written:then I ever did the more I study the less I know or just beginning to learn
