Accession: 511.56.001
Editorial Title: Charles J. Eastman to Mary Baker Eddy, April 28, 1881
Author: Charles J. Eastman
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: April 28, 1881
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Charles J. Eastman on lined paper from Boston, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Eastman writes that he has had congestion in his lungs and a bad cough that have prevented him from writing or coming to see Eddy. He says he wishes that he were up among the hills of their native state (New Hampshire). He also mentions that he has been handling a number of severe cases recently, and that he lost one yesterday. Eastman feels like he hardly has a moment to call his own, but he says he will come see Eddy soon. He closes by saying that if they could find someone to teach them how to make money without work, they could charter a college and he would take a course.
