Editorial Note: Austin writes to Calvin A. Frye regarding Mary Baker Eddy's property at 439 (later 443) Boston Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. She tells Frye that the man to whom she rented the property
after the previous tenant, Frank A. Bagley, moved out, left suddenly after only living there three weeks. Austin has found another
renter for the property who is a painter by trade. The new renter has agreed to rent
it only on the condition that all the trash and rubbish left in the rooms by the previous
tenant is cleaned up and hauled away. Austin has tried to sell the property for Eddy
but without success so far. She feels it will sell well in the spring if it is painted.
She hopes to hear from Frye soon.
