Manuscript Description: Handwritten by M. A. Hinckley on embossed lined paper from Williamsport, Pennsylvania.
Editorial Note: Hinckley is replying to a letter (not extant) she received from Mary Baker Eddy, dated
February 7, 1884. Hinckley states that Eddy's letter was proof of Hinckley's assertion
that Eddy is not governed by sordid motives. Hinckley informs Eddy that she will not
be able to attend Eddy's class that is to begin on February 25, 1884.
