Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Ira B. Keith on printed lined stationery, from Lynn, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Keith writes concerning Mary Baker Eddy's house at 8 Broad Street in Lynn, Massachusetts. He tells her he would have to charge her 5% to collect the
rent and evict the tenants from the house. But he cannot give an accurate statement
of the expense, as the tenants could make a great deal of trouble. Eddy would have
to give them fourteen days notice, and during that period they would have the right
to fully pay the rent they owe and would probably do so. Keith will try to sell the
houses (likely 8 Broad Street and 439 Boston Street) at the prices named.
