My dear Mrs Eddy

I have delayed writing in reference to my certificate from the SeptemberAs Written:Sept primary class, as there seemed to be so little to show myselfAs Written:my self worthy of having it; for three months after leaving class I was the most lost of mortals, did not seem to be able to find my way out; my entire family were attacked, very ill indeed in belief; but by the kindly aid of Mr Bertram that phase has been passed through with, and at last I am demonstrating the truth of Christian Science; have about a dozen patients, various beliefs, cancer, eczema, catarrh &c, &c, and all yield in varying degrees to the Truth. – The interest here is growing rapidly, I have written to Miss Sarah Pine to see if she will join me in the good work, that the people may not ask in vain for help.– Trusting that I may be deemed worthy to be considered a worker in the cause of Good.

With true thankfulness and gratitude

Sincerely
Kate S. Peirce.
