from Lynn, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: This is a letter from Edwin R. Robbins to Ira B. Keith, who apparently forwarded it
to Mary Baker Eddy for advice on how to respond. Robbins states that the term of his lease of Mary Baker
Eddy's home at 8 Broad Street in Lynn, Massachusetts, has almost expired. He says that if he is to renew the lease
for another year, certain maintenance and improvements on the property will have to
be done, including painting, new locks, window repairs, etc. He also asks for a sixteen
month lease with no restrictions on subletting.
