Editorial Note: Williams is writing to Mary Baker Eddy the day after Williams attended a lecture given
by Julia Ward Howe in Columbus, Wisconsin. Williams has not received the copies of The Christian Science Journal she ordered from Eddy. She expresses her disappointment that Clara E. Choate will not be coming to Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to teach a Primary class, and she asks
Eddy about the time and cost required to study at the Massachusetts Metaphysical College in Boston.
