Accession: 593A.61.018
Editorial Title: Russell H. Conwell to Mary Baker Eddy, January 15, 1879
Author: Russell H. Conwell
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: January 15, 1879
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by Russell H. Conwell on stationery of the Law Office of Russell H. Conwell from Boston, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Conwell writes that he must turn down Mary Baker Eddy's invitation for him to hear her speak at the Tabernacle. If Eddy knew of Conwell's ceaseless and pressing labors, she would excuse him for not going anyplace at the present time for his own entertainment or pleasure. He is pleased to see her growing esteem among the public. He has tried, unsuccessfully, for two days to see "Mr. Stevens." He has just come from Stevens' office but Stevens was in Court. Conwell has, however, sent Stevens a letter from Eddy (not extant).
