Editorial Title: C. H. Cotton to Mary Baker Eddy, December 16, 1882
Author: C. H. Cotton
Recipient: Mary Baker Eddy
Date: December 16, 1882
Manuscript Description: Handwritten by C. H. Cotton on lined paper from Cambridgeport, Massachusetts.
Editorial Note: Cotton asks Mary Baker Eddy a question about Christian Science treatment through prayer. If the person giving the treatment is disturbed two or three times while giving the treatment, can the treatment still be effective? Cotton goes on to tell how she has used medicine for many years but has now given it up. She has various physical problems, including deafness, that are in need of healing. She had a copy of Eddy's book, Science and Health, but had to return it before she had finished reading it. She asks that Eddy remember her in her prayers and also respond to her letter.
